We do advise you not to travel after dark. This is mainly because you are unfamiliar with the roads, animals may cross the road and there may be potholes.
The nearest airport is in Nelspruit, about an hour from our house in Marloth Park. If you want to fly via Nelspruit, you can also pick up a rental car there.
We fly from Amsterdam (direct) to Johannesburg. KLM has direct flights, but Air France and Kenya Airways are also good options. The choice is yours.
From Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport, it is 425 km to our house in Marloth Park. We rent a car in Johannesburg, which we use to drive to our house.
We can only advise you to contact the GGD (NL) or your own doctor to discuss your trip and what is required. Kruger Park is located in a malaria area, so it is wise to ask for advice.
